Old Kai agrees to the deal, and reveals his secret: he can awaken people's sleeping powers. Gohan adamantly refuses and yells at Goku, which then Goku gets the idea to use Bulma instead. Goku, noting that Gohan can return to Earth, suggest that he get Videl to agree to this. Goku mentally notes that Old Kai is just like Master Roshi, while Gohan is still skeptical of the idea. Goku says of course, and Old Kai is rather pleased. Old Kai asks if she is a good kisser (in the original Japanese version, Old Kai wants to see a beautiful girl naked). Goku says he can get Old Kai a date with real Earth girl. Supreme Kai is aghast at his ancestor's behavior. Old Kai, however, says that there is no need for such things, as his omniscient vision allows him to see girls playing beach volleyball. Gohan is shocked, and Supreme Kai tells Goku that this is inappropriate. Gohan, Goku, Old Kai, Kibito, Supreme Kai Goku then offers him some "girly" magazines from Master Roshi, in an attempt to loosen his tongue. Goku asks him what he means, but Old Kai says he will not tell. A little while later, Old Kai explained that people feared him for his smarts rather than his strength. When he gets up, he begins to scream at Goku, but Goku and Gohan say that the blast was child's play that even Goten could have handled it. He issues a tiny Ki Blast that hits Old Kai square in the face, knocking him to the ground. King Yemma, enraged, orders everyone back to work.īack on Supreme Kai's planet, Goku does not think that Old Kai is as strong as he claims. Another ogre comes in and says that there are 1,500,000 more arrivals. In the Other World, the two Ogres at the front gate are begging King Yemma for a break. He tells Supreme Kai that he is the Eastern Supreme Kai from 15 generations prior, and that he has been trapped in the sword since then.
The sword begins to emit waves of small energy that no one notices, until Old Kai, having emerged from the sword, speaks. Supreme Kai and Kibito are both shocked at the result, and Goku says that it's called the hardest metal for a reason. Gohan remarks that the Z Sword has now become a dagger. Goku throws it at Gohan, and Gohan tries to slice it, but the Z Sword snaps in two.
Supreme Kai then gives Goku some Katchin, one of the hardest known metals in the universe. He throws an ordinary rock at Gohan, which he slices perfectly in two. Goku then says it is time to see how sharp it is. On the Sacred World of the Kai, Gohan swings the Z Sword with ease. Despite this, Master Roshi ends up winning anyway.

Android 18 stands behind Master Roshi, telling Krillin which card to pick. Outside, Krillin, Bulma, and Master Roshi are playing cards. The pair get in a big argument and start fighting, so Piccolo comes in and breaks it up. Piccolo says they are doing better, but are not well synchronized. At last Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks and Piccolo return to Earth just as the Dark Planet explodes.The episode starts with Goten and Trunks trying to master the Fusion Technique. Hatchiyack devastates the heroes until the Saiyans (after having transformed into their Super Saiyan states) and Piccolo combine their powers together into one massive wave of energy, ending the threat of the Dr. Hatchiyack appears in a powerful android body, whose power is said to match or perhaps even exceed that of Broly, according to Goku. When Vegeta vaporizes Lychee, preventing him from re-materializing, the hate of the last remaining Tuffle causes Hatchiyack to exceed its limit. Lychee is a ghost warrior himself, generated by Hatchiyack. Lychee on the Dark Planet and engage him, discovering that his ghost warriors are generated by a machine called Hatchiyack, a device powered by the Tuffles' hatred for the Saiyans. The barrier is destroyed by Bulma, who also came with the antidote for the Destron gas. It is revealed that these ghost warriors are made of Destron gas and cannot be beaten unless the gas is neutralized. The heroes continue to lose against their foes. Frieza, Cooler, Turles and Lord Slug appear and engage the heroes one on one. When trying to destroy the final machine, Vegeta discovers that it is protected by an impenetrable energy barrier.

The Saiyans, plus Piccolo, only have 72 hours to destroy these machines and find Dr. He creates a machine that will emit Destron, a gas that could destroy all life on Earth. He now plans to take revenge on the remaining Saiyans, Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, and Gohan. Lychee may be the last of the Tuffle people, a race that was completely wiped some time ago by the Saiyans.
